Happy Friday! To start this wonderful weekend, we wanted to bring you another edition of the Employee Spotlight Series! Our focus this week is on Josephine Dagher. Josephine is a Statement Caller and has been a part of the SpendMend team for a year! When asked what she looks forward to for her future at SpendMend, she said, “To grow and to learn.” Josephine is located in Grand Rapids, MI, and went to Charis Bible College College. A fun fact about Josephine is that in the future hopes to go to Colorado to study productions! She enjoys cameras and wants to learn how to edit. Another fun fact about Josephine is that she used to work as an Uber Driver! She always was curious about how fun it would be to be a taxi driver, so she decided to try it out! Some of the fun cities she would drive in are Indiana, Chicago, Detroit, and Grand Rapids. Her favorite part about Uber driving was seeing all the cool houses by the lake! If you like sightseeing and scenic driving routes, make sure to ask Josephine about any hidden gems! Outside of work, Josephine loves spending time with her dogs! She has three Pomeranians and they love being close to Josephine, no matter what they are all doing. Her favorite things to do with her dogs is play fetch, run around, and cuddle! How did you first learn about SpendMend?
John told me about SpendMend.
What 3 words would you use to describe SpendMend?
I. love. Working
Why do you look forward to coming to work?
Because I get to call and talk to people.
Where are you located/from?
I am located in Grand Rapids, MI.
Where did you go for higher education?
I went to Charis Bible College to study The Bible, to know God more, and to see what He had to say.
What did you study and why?
I have to go to Colorado to study productions. I like cameras and I want to learn how to edit.
Before working at SpendMend, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?
Being an Uber Driver you got to see God’s creation.
What piqued your interest to start Uber driving?
I wanted to see if it was cool to be a taxi driver.
What area would you drive in?
I would drive to Indiana, Chicago, Detroit, and in Grand Rapids.
Most interesting part about Uber driving?
I like driving to the houses by the lake.
What is one fun fact about you?
I am friendly and like to solve problems.

Do you have any hobbies or participate in any activities outside of work?
Playing with my dogs.
How many dogs do you have and what kind are they?
I have 3 dogs and they are Pomeranians.

Their name is Foxy Lady she is a year old Max and NeyNey are 3 months old.
What are your dog’s favorite game to play?
They like to play fetch and run around and cuddle with them the most.
What do you like to do with your dogs the most?
My dogs make me laugh, just by chasing their tail and no matter what I do they want to be close to me.
Can you describe an interaction when you helped a client or a supplier that stands out in your mind?
They want payments so I forward the email to a supervisor.
What was the best compliment you’ve ever been paid by a client or supplier?

What is the best part of serving the healthcare market?
Getting a statement.
