Hi everyone, and happy Friday! Let’s start the weekend off with a new edition of the Employee Spotlight Series. This week, we are highlighting Cindy Miller. Cindy is a Vendor Correspondent and joined the SpendMend team this past June! When asked what three words she would use to describe SpendMend, she stated, “Inclusive, Nurturing, and Transparent.” It was great interviewing Cindy and learning some fun facts! Cindy feels valued and likes being a part of a team. She looks forward to advancing within the company and expanding her skill set. When asked what she believes is the best part about serving the healthcare market, she said, “Everything is so expensive, and it’s a good feeling to be able to help a hospital recoup lost money to keep costs down for everyone, including patients.” Outside of SpendMend, a fun fact about Cindy is that she is very passionate about animals. She especially loves dogs. Cindy likes to dedicate her free time to rescuing homeless dogs. Some other activities she enjoys outside of work are photography and spending time with her family.
Cindy does a great job as a Vendor Correspondent. We asked Tracy Clark, Statement Caller, about Cindy, and she said, “Cindy is funny, honest, persistent, and caring. She has a positive attitude, enjoys helping others, and is a dedicated worker. She is very helpful and very reliable. Before working at SpendMend, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?
Advertising Manager for a small chain (4 stores) of sporting apparel and equipment.
What is one fun fact about you?
I am passionate about animals, especially dogs.
What type of music or podcasts do you listen to during the workday?
60’s and 70’s rock.
Do you have any hobbies or participate in any activities outside of work?
Photography, rescuing homeless dogs, and any activities with my family.

I’ve been told that I’m very kind and helpful.
What is the best part of serving the healthcare market?
