It’s that time again—Employee Spotlight Friday! Our featured team member this week is Beth Herriman. Beth is an Account Recon Specialist and has been a part of SpendMend for over four years. When asked what she looks forward to in her future at SpendMend, Beth shared, “Doing the best job I can and learning new things!” A fun fact about Beth is that she grew up in St. Helen, Michigan, and has lived in Prudenville for the past 35 years! During the workday, she enjoys listening to Christian music, especially contemporary and worship-style songs. Beth explains, “When I feel like I am having a bad day I will generally turn music on to help me focus.” Outside of work, Beth loves camping with her family and dogs. They often visit state campgrounds, especially those near the water. One of her favorite spots is Hartwick Pines, known for its beautiful walking trails. Beth says a pie iron is a must-have camping item—it’s perfect for making a variety of meals and treats. (If you need pie iron recipe ideas, Beth’s your go-to!)! Another favorite hobby of Beth’s is cross-stitching, a skill she learned from her mom as a teenager. One of her first projects was a five-piece set based on The Night Before Christmas, which she made for her mom. Other designs she’s created include cherubs, a German Shepherd, and a Husky. Want to know how long it takes to complete a cross-stitch project? Read the full interview below to find out!

Beth is terrific in her role as an Account Recon Specialist. We asked Joe Vig, Account Recon Team Lead, about Beth, he said, “Beth has been a great addition to our recon team. Her attention to detail is excellent and she has great critical thinking skills.” Thank you, Beth, for all that you do!
